Provincetown, Massachusetts
Pier-side cocktail bar with floor-to-ceiling bay windows and sunset views
Harbor Lounge is a waterfront cocktail bar on Provincetown's East End — a glass-walled room with floor-to-ceiling sliders that open to the bay and a wooden pier extending directly over the water. Owner Cass Benson spotted the foreclosed space from the beach behind it and opened the bar in 2009. The design is minimalist: leather couches, wraparound windows, and no food menu — just cocktails (the Harbor Mule is the signature), wine, and beer. The west-facing orientation makes this one of the better sunset spots in town. During Bear Week, Harbor Lounge hosts the annual Come & Scrum fundraiser with Ironsides Rugby. The rest of the season it runs as a low-key cocktail bar — more date-night than dance floor. Multiple Best of Cape Cod gold awards for cocktails from 2019 through 2022.
