Part of the Gay Dallas Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Dallas, Texas
Gay-owned Latino nightclub on Maple Avenue.
Kaliente is a gay-owned Latino nightclub on Maple Avenue, a longtime home for Latin LGBTQ+ nightlife in Dallas. The DJs work through salsa, cumbia, reggaeton, and Top 40, and the weekly calendar leans on drag shows hosted by local queens and amateur strip contests. The crowd is largely Latino and the energy is late-night and dance-driven, which sets Kaliente apart from the bar-hopping pace of the Cedar Springs strip a mile south. If you want to actually dance, and hear música in Spanish while you do it, this is the room to cross town for. Valet parking is on-site.
