Berlin, Germany
Techno and fetish nightclub on the Spree canal in Berlin since 1994.
Techno and fetish nightclub on the Spree canal at the Mitte-Kreuzberg border, founded in 1994 by Simon Thaur and Kirsten Krüger during Berlin's post-reunification club explosion. Named after the Kit Kat Klub in Cabaret, it has occupied three locations before settling at Köpenicker Straße in 2007. Multiple dance floors, a sauna, pool area, and dedicated playspace. The dress code is strictly fetish — latex, leather, vinyl, costumes, lingerie; jeans and street clothes get turned away at the door. CarneBall Bizarre on Saturdays is the flagship night; Gegen runs bi-monthly as an explicitly gay party. Photography is prohibited and sex on premises is permitted. KitKatClub sits alongside Berghain as one of the two venues that define Berlin's global reputation for sexually liberated nightlife.
