Part of the Gay Memphis Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Memphis, Tennessee
Memphis’ only dedicated tiki bar, open since 2024.
The only dedicated tiki bar in Memphis, open since April 2024 on South Cooper. B.O.T.E. stands for Bar of Tropical Escapism, which the owners treat as a mission statement as much as a name. The list is rum-forward — Volcano Bowls, Zombies, Mai Tais, Jet Pilots, Painkillers, Blue Hawaiians. It is the second bar from the Cameo team, 21+ at all times, with happy hour Tuesday through Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday.
