New Milford, Pennsylvania
Clothing-optional LGBTQ+ campground and lodge on 94 acres, running since 1980
Oneida has been running since 1980 on 93.7 acres outside New Milford in northeastern Pennsylvania, a few miles from Hillside, and its 2026 events page counts this as the 46th season. The camp policies say you must be at least 21 or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, require everyone to hold a membership card, and clothing to be optional except in the office, at camp-sponsored meals and at the cafe. Swimsuits are required at the lake, and explicit sexual activity is not tolerated at the pool, the disco or other public areas. There are tent sites, RV hookups, cabins and two lodges that suit larger groups. The 2026 rate sheet lists tent camping at $33 per person on weeknights and $50 on Friday and Saturday nights with a two-night minimum, RVs at the tent rate plus $10 a night, standard cabins from $82.50 a night midweek and $145 on weekends for two, and lodge rooms priced per person. Holiday weekends carry a three-night minimum. The grounds have an outdoor pool with a snack bar, a disco, a cafe, a camp store, a fitness center, volleyball and croquet, hiking, and two private ponds and a lake for fishing, small boats and swimming. Regular programming includes drag bingo on Saturday afternoons and movie night on Fridays. Pets are allowed on a leash, with a $20 charge in private cabins and no pets in the Upper Lodge.

We verified 32 LGBTQ+ campgrounds in the US, from 700-acre men's retreats in the Ozarks to a women-only resort in Michigan's Thumb. This guide covers every one we could verify from the campground's own website: who's welcome, what clothing optional means there, what you can sleep in, what it costs and when the season runs.

After 40 the velvet rope matters less and the pool deck matters more. Here are the six destinations that deliver, the bear weeks and cruises built for a slower pace, and where to stay in each, drawn from our venue listings and event guides.

Leather bar, bear bar, video bar, tea dance, piano bar, dive. Every type of gay bar explained: what it is, how it started, what a night looks like, and how to find one near you.

Circuit parties are the big dance weekends on the gay calendar. Here's what they are, where the name came from, what actually happens, what to wear, and which one to pick first.

The practical first-timer's guide to drag: what people actually wear, how much cash to bring, how to hand a tip to a queen without making it weird, and what the room expects of you.

A gay bar is a bar. Here's what actually happens on a normal night, why walking in alone is easier than you think, and how to pick the right one for your first time.
