Nashville, Tennessee
Roadhouse-style gay bar and grill in SoBro.
Pecker's Bar and Grill is a roadhouse-style gay bar and grill in South Nashville, about a mile from downtown and well outside the Church Street/Midtown strip where most of the city's gay nightlife sits. Open since 2017, it runs a full kitchen — tacos, wings, burgers, and the much-talked-about chicken quesadillas — alongside about 2,500 square feet of outdoor patio with cornhole. The calendar leans more neighborhood gathering spot than nightlife destination: country line dancing with lessons on Fridays, plus drag shows, karaoke, bingo, art shows, and community fundraisers through the week. The crowd is no-attitude and quick to pull a newcomer into conversation, and the free secured parking makes it an easy stop for anyone staying outside the center. If you want the local, low-key end of gay Nashville rather than the downtown crush, this is it.
