Community gay pub at the Rembrandt, with Club Tropicana at weekends
REM Bar is the pub inside the Rembrandt, on the corner of Sackville Street and Canal Street. The building does three jobs: a bar, a small hotel and Club Tropicana, a nightclub that opens on Friday and Saturday nights. The pub also serves tapas. It's a cheap-and-cheerful local's bar rather than a destination venue, and its corner spot makes it a natural meeting point before heading along Canal Street.
