Mexico City, State of Mexico
LGBTQ+ creative and community space in Roma Norte.
Revuelta Queer House is a queer cultural space in Roma Norte that opened in 2023, built around a rotating gallery of work by LGBTQ+ artists (much of it for sale) with a wine and vermouth bar and a rooftop above it. It works as a community hub as much as a bar, programming workshops, talks, book launches, and intimate concerts that range from funk and soul downstairs to disco and Afrobeat on the roof. It runs Wednesday through Sunday, gallery by day and bar and rooftop into the evening, drawing a mixed creative crowd. For a traveler it's the calmer, daytime-friendly side of queer Roma Norte, a place to see local art and have a drink with a view rather than chase a dance floor.
