Jersey City gay rooftop bar named for the day marriage equality passed, open 7 nights
Jersey City's gay lounge and rooftop, named for June 26, 2015 — the day the Supreme Court made marriage equality the law nationwide. It opened in 2018 in the Powerhouse Arts District as a full-service alternative to crossing the Hudson, with a street-level lounge, a planted rooftop with a fire pit, and a kitchen running brunch and small plates. Programming runs most nights of the week and leans into shows: two weekly drag nights, a Friday late show open to the public, and a Saturday drag brunch with cheap mimosas, alongside DJ and themed parties. A short walk from the Grove Street PATH, it pulls both Jersey City locals and the NYC overflow looking for a rooftop night without the Manhattan prices.
