The Club St. Louis is the city's gay bathhouse, open around the clock in the Loft District between Downtown and Midtown. It's part of The Clubs, a national group of men's saunas whose lineage traces back to the Club Baths chain founded in 1965. The single-level facility is unusually well-equipped: a dry sauna, a steam room, a sky-lit indoor whirlpool, a seasonal heated outdoor pool, a gym, a movie lounge, tanning beds, and private rooms, with around 180 lockers across the floor. That mix of wet amenities and an open-air pool deck gives it more range than a typical bathhouse, and the 24-hour door makes it a fixture for locals and travelers alike.
