Manchester, England
Art-deco cocktail and cabaret bar with drag brunches and quiz nights
The Cockatoo Club is an LGBTQ+ cocktail and cabaret bar on Richmond Street, styled as art deco meets tropical: velvets, gold accents, tropical fabrics and a mirror ball. The week is built around shows, with cocktails and cabaret from drag performers at weekends, Sunday sing-alongs, a weekly quiz, Drag Race viewing parties and the Frockatoo Drag Brunch. It's a smaller, sit-down kind of venue, better for a booked show and cocktails than a big night of dancing. Most events can be booked through its website.
