Part of the Gay Washington D.C. Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Washington D.C., Washington D.C.
A Logan Circle pub with craft cocktails and a 70-seat patio.
The Little Gay Pub opened in 2023 on P Street NW in Logan Circle, the work of three veterans of D.C.'s gay-bar world: Dito Sevilla, longtime barman behind Dito's Bar at Floriana, alongside former general managers of Trade and Number Nine. The name is the whole thesis. Small by design, it spreads two stories of leather club chairs, marble-topped bars, and vintage lighting under walls of curated art that nod to queer history and pop culture, with a 70-seat rear patio out back and a much-photographed bathroom papered in the pub's own branded mirrors. The bar runs on craft cocktails, espresso martinis, and conversation rather than a dance floor, leaning into its role as a neighborhood gathering spot that stays social late without turning into a club. The kitchen serves all night, which makes it a reliable landing spot when the nearby 14th Street venues start to wind down. Good for a first drink, a long catch-up, or a low-key weekend patio afternoon.
