Manchester, England
Independent gay pub on Sackville Street with drag and DJs
The Thompsons Arms is a long-running independent gay pub on Sackville Street, in the Gay Village between Canal Street and Sackville Gardens. Expect drag cabaret, DJs and pop and dance music, with a crowd that spans the ages. It's a pub first, so it works for an early pint as well as a late one, with REM Bar a few doors up the street.
