Civic Center Plaza
Civic Center Plaza, San Francisco, CA 94102San Francisco Pride Celebration 2026 lands at Civic Center Plaza on Saturday June 27 and Sunday June 28, 2026, running 11 AM to 6 PM both days and standing as the largest LGBTQ+ gathering on the West Coast. This is the beating heart of Pride weekend, an open-air festival sprawling across the plaza in the 94102 between City Hall and the Civic Center steps. You get a Main Stage stacked with headliners and DJs, community stages spotlighting local performers, a Latinx stage, and the Soul of Pride Black LGBTQ+ culture stage over on Grove Street. The vendor village runs 200-plus exhibitors, LGBTQ+ owned businesses, artists, food, and nonprofits, plus an 18-plus adults-only zone called Root of Pride. Getting here is easy. Take BART to Civic Center/UN Plaza and the exits drop you right into the grounds, no transfer needed. Tap your Clipper card and skip the ticket-machine line. Muni Metro also serves Civic Center if you are coming from the Castro, SoMa, or the Mission. PridePass, a separate paid all-access weekend pass with fast-track entry, lounges, and premium parade viewing, is sold through sfpride.org if you want to skip queues. Here's my local tip. Arrive right at 11 AM for the shortest lines, and remember the festival sits one block from the parade finish, so you can flow straight off the route into the party. Late-June fog, the one locals call Karl, rolls in hard by afternoon, so pack a layer even when the morning looks sunny. Bring a refillable water bottle too. The plaza gets warm before Karl arrives.
