San Francisco, CaliforniaSan Francisco Pride Weekend 2026, the West Coast's biggest LGBTQ+ celebration, takes over the city Saturday June 27 and Sunday June 28, 2026, with the 56th annual SF Pride running under the theme "Resistance in Action." Over a million people pour in for two days of music, marching, and unapologetic joy. The heart of it is the Pride Celebration at Civic Center Plaza, open 11am to 6pm both days, plus the Pride Parade rolling up Market Street Sunday at 10:30am from the Embarcadero to Civic Center. Around the official program, the whole city goes off. Friday's Trans March and Saturday's Dyke March both step off from Dolores Park in the Mission, and the parties stack up across the Castro, SoMa, and the Mission, from Juanita MORE!'s legendary fundraiser to XOXO, Polyglamorous, and Bearracuda. The bars of the Castro, the world's most famous gayborhood, run full tilt all weekend, and the Pink Triangle glows from Twin Peaks, visible across town. Most parties are ticketed and 21+, so grab those in advance. Do not drive. Market Street closes and parking is genuinely impossible. Take BART to Civic Center or UN Plaza for the festival and parade finish, or to Embarcadero for the parade start, and ride Muni Metro K, L, or M out to the Castro. Load a Clipper card before the weekend so you skip every ticket line. One real local tip, pack layers for Karl the Fog. Late June swings from 75F sun to 58F mist in a single afternoon, and you will want a jacket by the time the after-parties spill out.
