Alberta Arts District Latin cocktail bar with weekend drag brunches
Bar Cala is a Latin cocktail bar on NE Alberta Street in Portland's Alberta Arts District, with mezcal cocktails, Mexican food from Azus Cocina, and DJ party nights on Fridays and Saturdays. On most Sundays, plus some Saturdays, it hosts Drag Brunch Portland, produced by Brunch Portland, with dates and tickets on the bar's calendar. It's a Gay Friendly bar rather than a gay bar, and the weekend drag brunch is the reason to go.
