Portland's longest-running LGBTQ+ nightclub, open since 1981 in Old Town Chinatown. Named one of the 200 Greatest Gay Bars in the World by Out magazine, CC Slaughters splits between a lounge side for cocktails and conversation and a club side with DJs and a packed dance floor. Drag shows, live music, and themed monthly events fill the calendar. After more than four decades, CC's remains one of the anchors of Portland's queer nightlife — a place where the format hasn't changed because it never needed to.
