Three-floor gay dance club in the Village, a minute from Beaudry metro.
Club Unity is the Gay Village's big-room dance club, a three-floor space on Sainte-Catherine Est a one-minute walk from the Beaudry metro. Open since 2002, it spreads across two music rooms with local and visiting DJs, a VIP section, and a rooftop terrace that becomes the draw once the weather turns. The sound leans into house and pop remixes, with drag sets and go-go dancers folded into the bigger weekend parties. Unity runs Thursday through Saturday, late into the early hours, and is one of the longest-running queer dance venues in the city. The floor packs out on weekends with a crowd of gay men and a healthy share of friends and allies along for the night. If you want the high-energy, full-club end of the Village rather than a low-key bar, this is where to point yourself, and the rooftop is the place to catch your breath between rooms.
