Four-level gay complex in the Village with rooftop pool, cabaret shows, and nightclub.
Complexe Sky is the most sprawling venue in Montreal's Gay Village, a multi-level complex on Sainte-Catherine Est that runs from a ground-floor pub up to a rooftop terrace. Le Branche handles drinks and food at street level, a cabaret floor hosts dinner-and-drag shows, the upper levels hold several music rooms, and the roof has a pool, hot tub, and open-air seating with views over the neighborhood. It's effectively several venues stacked under one roof, which is the whole point. There's no cover most nights, and the crowd shifts through the day, from happy-hour and terrace regulars early on to dancers stretching the party toward sunrise. For a visitor it works as a one-stop tour of the Village's range, pub to club to rooftop, without leaving the building. It's among the largest and most versatile spaces in the neighborhood, and it's best on a warm night when the roof is open.
