COCKtail (Cocktail St Pete) is the disco-leaning gay bar on the ground floor of the Mari Jean Hotel in the Grand Central District, opened in 2021 by St. Pete nightlife operator David Fischer. The look is pure maximalist Fischer — color everywhere, the same eccentric eye behind his other Central Avenue spaces. The calendar leans hard on drag: regular shows, a drag brunch on the second and fourth Sundays, plus karaoke, go-go boys, and DJs across the week. It has pulled multiple Best of the Bay and Watermark WAVE awards since opening, and it anchors a one-stop strip — the Mari Jean's pool bar and other rooms are steps away, so a night here rarely stays in one room.
