Enigma is a Central Avenue mainstay in St. Pete's EDGE District, opened in 2014 by Ed Gonzalez — a longtime local operator who ran Georgie's Alibi for years before this. It's a roomy multi-bar space with a dance floor, a game area with pool and darts, and a covered patio out front. Entertainment director Daphne Ferraro headlines two drag shows every Friday, and the rest of the week fills in with karaoke and free pool on Mondays, a Wednesday talent contest, and DJs working the dance floor. It reads more all-purpose neighborhood bar than single-night destination — a place that's open and doing something most nights, which makes it an easy default for locals and a reliable first stop for visitors.
