Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Quiet gay men's guesthouse with a heated pool in Coral Ridge.
Coral Reef Guesthouse is a gay-owned, men-only guesthouse in Coral Ridge, an upscale residential pocket of Fort Lauderdale about a mile from the beach and a short drive from Wilton Manors. Eight individually styled rooms wrap around a tropical courtyard built for lounging: a heated pool, a 12-person jacuzzi, a sun terrace, and a BBQ area, with the Intracoastal and the Galleria Mall close by. With only eight rooms, it runs more like a private retreat than a hotel — quieter and more personal than the larger all-male resorts in the area. A continental breakfast is included daily, and the social center of gravity is the pool, where guests tend to actually meet each other. A good fit for travelers who want Fort Lauderdale's gay scene within reach but a calm place to come back to.
