Provincetown, Massachusetts
After-dark cruising spot beneath the Boatslip's beachfront deck.
Dick Dock is the local nickname for the stretch of beach beneath the Boatslip's pier and pool deck on Provincetown's West End. After dark it's a long-standing cruising and socializing spot in the town's queer scene, an unofficial, unsupervised gathering place on the sand under the boardwalk. There are no facilities and no oversight; it's part of P-town lore more than a venue in any formal sense, and anything that happens there does so at your own discretion and risk.
