San Francisco, California
Queer sex club in the Tenderloin's Transgender Cultural District.
San Francisco sex club operating since 1992, now at 132 Turk Street in the Tenderloin's Transgender Cultural District. The building has its own history — it was originally the Club Turkish Bath House (the city's first gay bathhouse) and later the legendary Bulldog Baths before they were shut down in the 1980s. EROS is a registered SF Legacy Business and has been voted the Bay Area's best sex club for over 15 consecutive years. This is a cruise and play space, not a traditional bathhouse — there's no sauna, steam room, or spa amenities. The club has lockers, a lounge, video areas, glory hole booths, cubicles, and slings. No street clothes past the locker room: towels, jockstraps, kink wear, or nothing. The crowd is primarily men, though the official policy is "we don't police gender." Discounted Thursday rates for students.
