FLEX Spas is a gay bathhouse on Melrose Avenue near the East Hollywood–Silver Lake border, open 24 hours and part of the Flex Spas chain. With Hollywood Spa gone since 2014, it's one of only a couple of bathhouses left in Los Angeles. What sets this location apart from the rest of the chain is the outdoor element: a swimming pool, a heated Jacuzzi, and a rustic garden area, alongside the expected dry sauna, steam maze, and gym. Room options run from standard lockers to private TV rooms and larger suites, and it operates as a members' club for gay and bisexual men. It sits close to the Eagle LA on Santa Monica Boulevard, making it an easy add to a night out on that stretch. The spa briefly closed in 2025 over a permitting issue and has since reopened.
