Part of the Gay Los Angeles Guide — bars, events & things to do.
Los Angeles, California
Men's cruise and play club with dark rooms and a fetish-friendly crowd.
Slammer is a men's cruise club on Beverly Boulevard near the Vermont/Beverly Metro station, operating since 2000. The layout runs to a dark room, a sling room, glory holes, a watersports area, and dungeon spaces, plus an outdoor patio for breaks. The crowd skews leather and fetish, though the door is open to all. It is one of the more hardcore play spaces in the city, closer to a dedicated fetish club than a traditional bathhouse, and it keeps a Tuesday-through-Sunday schedule, dark on Mondays, with weekend hours opening in the early afternoon and running late. Memberships are available for regulars, and themed nights regularly bring in visiting fetish groups.
