Part of the Gay Provincetown Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Provincetown, Massachusetts
P-town institution since 1960 with nightly drag karaoke downstairs
A Provincetown institution on Commercial Street since 1960, known above all for its nightly drag karaoke — a tradition running 30+ years, started by Ryan Landry and carried on for two decades by host Dana Denzel. The downstairs bar has pool tables, backgammon, and chess alongside the karaoke stage. New ownership relaunched the kitchen in April 2026 with a comfort-food menu and cold pints, served in a 220-seat dining room or on the dog-friendly patio. Dark wood and low copper ceilings give it an old-salt tavern feel. One of the few Commercial Street spots open year-round.
