Part of the Gay Palm Springs Guide — bars, events & things to do.
Palm Springs, California
Gay dance club since 1998 on Arenas with go-go dancers and two patios
The dance-floor anchor of Palm Springs’ Arenas Road gay strip, open since 1998. Hunters runs two rooms — a bar side with pool tables, go-go dancers, and floor-to-ceiling street-facing windows, and a separate dance floor with rotating DJs playing house and pop. Front and rear patios offer a break from the bass. The bar opens at 10 AM daily and claims the longest happy hour in the Coachella Valley: nine hours of $3 wells, wine, and draft beer until 7 PM. Weekly programming includes Tuesday karaoke, Wednesday’s Drag Me 2 Bingo with Rusty Waters and Alexa Steals, and a monthly burlesque showcase called UNINHIBITED. Named Best Dance Bar in the Coachella Valley by Palm Springs Magazine, competing against both gay and straight venues.
