Provincetown, Massachusetts
Organic-wine cocktail bar and New American kitchen on the West End
Joon is an intimate 64-seat cocktail bar and kitchen on Provincetown's West End, open seasonally Wednesday through Sunday. The space at 133 Commercial has a long lineage — Cookie's Tap from 1941, Gallerani's Cafe, Lorraine's — and was redesigned for Joon's 2014 opening by Kevin O'Shea of Salt Hotels. The wine program leans organic and biodynamic, and the cocktail list is built to match a seasonal New American menu. The duck sliders are the most talked-about item on the menu, alongside beef tartare, oysters on the half shell, and rotating small plates. The kitchen closes around 9 PM while the bar runs until 11. Reservations through Resy are strongly recommended — the room fills quickly, especially Wednesday through Friday evenings. More date-night than nightlife.
