MEET MACARENA is a multi-room gay club in Hato Rey, set on a small strip of San Juan gay bars directly across from El Cojo. The layout splits across an indoor dance floor running techno and house, a separate reggaeton room, a speakeasy-style lounge, and an outdoor pool terrace, so the night can move with the crowd. Cocktails are a point of pride, including a mango-passionfruit mojito. Programming carries the week from Thursday karaoke to weekend DJ sets, live shows, and a Sunday pool party that has become its signature. It sits about ten minutes south of Santurce as a standalone destination, open Thursday through Sunday, and it pulls a dance-focused crowd looking for a full club rather than a quiet bar.
