Palm Springs, California
Palm Springs' 15,000-sq-ft gay complex with Tea Dance and piano bar
A 15,000-square-foot gay entertainment complex on Tahquitz Canyon Way in downtown Palm Springs. Dan Gore took over ownership in 2017 and signed a 20-year lease in 2022, cementing Oscar's as a permanent fixture. The layout spans an outdoor courtyard, an indoor showroom, and a newer Atrium Piano Bar that opened in late 2025. The Sunday Tea Dance has been running since 2013 — first hour free, $5 drink specials, disco-era soundtrack in the courtyard starting at 4pm. The Bitchiest Brunch (Saturdays and Sundays, hosted by Anita Rose) is Palm Springs' longest-running drag brunch, with morning courtyard and afternoon showroom seatings. The weekly calendar also includes cabaret, comedy, jazz, and Broadway vocal nights.
