LGBTQ+ bar and back-room stage in the old Crush space in Buckman
Peacock PDX is an LGBTQ+ bar on SE Morrison Street in Portland's Buckman neighborhood, opened in September 2025 in the space that housed the queer bar Crush for about two decades. Owners Zoe Nelson, Aaron Grimmer and Rayne Yamanoha spent most of 2025 redoing it, with a peacock wall mural, a glittery new bar top and gender-inclusive restrooms. The back room keeps Crush's stage, now with a green room for performers, and it's where the events happen: it has hosted RuPaul's Drag Race viewing parties, drag and pop-up nights from local producers. Up front there's a house cocktail list (the Pink Pony Club, a Bold Fashioned) and inexpensive bar food. Its own site sums up the mood: "also, we're super gay."
