Part of the Gay Dallas Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Dallas, Texas
One of the country's largest LGBTQ+ community centers.
Resource Center is one of the largest LGBTQ+ community organizations in the country, serving over 61,000 people annually from its iconic triangular building on Cedar Springs Road in Oak Lawn — Dallas's historic gayborhood. Founded in 1983 during the HIV/AIDS crisis, the center has grown into a full-service hub offering primary healthcare, HIV testing and treatment, HRT, mental health counseling, and dental care. Beyond health services, Resource Center runs Youth First for LGBTQ+ teens ages 12-18, THRIVE for seniors 50+, Women with Pride, and community wellness programs. The building's triangular design references the pink triangle — reclaimed from a symbol of oppression to one of resilience.
