No-attitude North Hollywood leather and Levi bar with a patio.
The Bullet Bar is a leather-and-levi bar on Burbank Boulevard in North Hollywood, and one of LA's last old-school leather bars. The motto is "no attitude," and the crowd lives up to it: full-gear leathermen alongside guys in jeans who came for cheap beer and a pool game. Weekdays it reads as a friendly neighborhood bar; weekends it leans harder into the levi, leather, and cruise side. Inside there is a pool table and TVs; out back, a roomy patio with a big-screen projector. The calendar keeps it busy with karaoke, happy-hour bingo, bare-chest contests, and Sunday beer busts that come with free burgers and hot dogs, and the long-running Mr. Bullet Leather contest is the bar's signature event. It holds onto the unfussy, cheap-beer ethos that is vanishing from the rest of the city.
