Part of the Gay Palm Springs Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Palm Springs, California
Ten-suite gay men's resort on Warm Sands Drive with two pools
A 10-suite gay men's resort on Warm Sands Drive, Palm Springs' established gay resort corridor a few blocks from the Arenas Road nightlife strip. Suites range from 500 to 850 square feet, some with full kitchens, fireplaces, and in-unit laundry, and rank among the larger accommodations on the strip. The grounds include two swimming pools, a jetted in-ground spa with an adjacent outdoor fireplace, Saltillo-tiled patios, and Southwestern landscaping with unobstructed San Jacinto Mountain views. Swimsuits are optional at the pools and spa. The property has been part of the Warm Sands resort scene since the 1970s, originally established as Hacienda En Sueño. It runs at roughly a 1:1 staff-to-suite ratio, and rates include daily continental breakfast in the breezeway plus a complimentary catered poolside lunch. The result skews more toward a polished, full-service stay than the casual guesthouse end of Warm Sands, which makes it a good fit for travelers who want a quieter, service-led base within walking distance of the desert's gay nightlife rather than a party-resort itself. Best for couples and solo guests after space, privacy, and an unhurried pace.
