Portland, Oregon
Woodstock food cart pod and bar with a monthly Poison Waters drag brunch
The Heist is a bar, coffee shop and food cart pod on SE Woodstock Boulevard in Portland's Woodstock neighborhood, in a former bank whose vault is still inside, with covered outdoor seating and carts serving everything from African jollof bowls and Cuban food to sushi. About once a month on a Sunday morning it hosts Drag Brunch with Poison Waters & Friends, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. It's a Gay Friendly neighborhood spot rather than a gay bar, and the monthly drag brunch is the reason to go.
