Part of the Gay Palm Springs Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Palm Springs, California
Coachella Valley's LGBTQ+ services hub since 1998
Founded in 2001 and headquartered in the McDonald/Wright Building on North Palm Canyon Drive, The Center runs one of the Coachella Valley's most comprehensive LGBTQ+ service operations and counts more than 85,000 individual interactions across its sites in a single year. Programs include the Scott Hines Behavioral Health Clinic, which delivers low-cost therapy through a clinical internship model, along with a weekly food bank and youth and older-adult services. It's the desert's primary hub for LGBTQ+ support, drop-in connection, and volunteering. The Center also operates a satellite location in Coachella focused on LGBTQ+ young people in the Eastern Coachella Valley, with after-school drop-in activities and affirming social programming. For locals it's a year-round resource; for visitors spending real time in Palm Springs, it's the place to find community programming, support services, and ways to plug in beyond the bars and pools.
