URGE Miami 2026 Overview

URGE Miami is South Beach's Thanksgiving-weekend circuit festival — four days of pool parties, big-room nights, and open-air beach dancing that turn the sand and clubs around Ocean Drive into one of the biggest gay dance gatherings of the fall. If you're spending the long weekend in Miami Beach, this is where the boys are.

  • Dates: Friday, November 27 through Monday, November 30, 2026 (Thanksgiving weekend)
  • Where: South Beach — host hotels on Ocean Drive (the Clevelander & Essex), club nights nearby, and the beach itself at Lummus Park
  • Cost: Each party sells its own ticket; weekend passes and single-event tickets are available through the festival
  • The vibe: International DJs, a beach day, a Sunday-night headliner, and a Monday-morning closing set for those still standing

Tickets and the full lineup are posted at urgemiami.com as the weekend approaches — lineups and set times firm up closer to November.

The URGE Miami Party Lineup

The weekend is built around a run of parties, each with its own moment — a Friday warm-up, Saturday's daytime-into-late-night one-two, a Sunday beach day, and the closing hours on Monday.

  • Friday, Nov 27 — kick things off at the URGE Welcome Tea Dance, an early-evening poolside session, then head into the night with GUAPO, the festival's first big-room party.
  • Saturday, Nov 28 — soak up the sun at the SWET Pool Party, then rally for URGE — The Main Event, the marquee big-room night of the weekend.
  • Sunday, Nov 29 — take it to the sand for URGE Beach at Lummus Park, an open-air daytime dance, before WE Party brings its international production to the club that night.
  • Monday, Nov 30 — the last dance is RAW, the Monday-morning closing afterhours for the die-hards.

Pro Tip: The pool and beach parties (SWET, URGE Beach) sell out fastest and are the most Miami-specific part of the weekend — buy those first. The late-night club parties have more flexibility at the door.

Getting Around

Everything clusters in South Beach, so you can mostly walk. Ocean Drive, Collins, and Washington Avenues are the spine — host hotels, clubs, and the beach are all within a few blocks. Rideshares are easy but surge hard at closing time; if you're staying on the beach you may not need one at all. Lummus Park (the URGE Beach site) runs along Ocean Drive around 12th Street.

Where to Stay

Stay on South Beach (near the parties)

South Beach is the move — staying on or near Ocean Drive puts you steps from the host hotels, the club nights, and the beach dance, so you can nap between the pool party and the main event without a cab.

  • Clevelander — an Ocean Drive institution and one of the festival's host hotels, pool and bar in the thick of it
  • Moxy Miami South Beach — a lively, design-forward option a couple blocks off the sand
  • Dream South Beach — rooftop pool and a central Collins Avenue address
  • Cavalier Hotel South Beach — a boutique Art Deco stay right on Ocean Drive

Prefer a gay-owned base?

If you'd rather stay somewhere unapologetically ours, Hôtel Gaythering is Miami's gay-owned hotel, spa, and bar — it's on the mainland (Miami Beach's Lincoln Road area), a short ride from the South Beach action but a great home base with its own crowd.

I'm Robbie, the founder of Out x Out. I'm from Minneapolis, though I'm spending 2026 building this community from the road — somewhere between South America and Asia. The idea for Out x Out came from a trip to Berlin, where the gay nightlife calendar was years ahead of ours: you could see not just where to go out, but which night to go — so naturally I wanted that kind of insider info for every city in the US (and beyond... eventually). I'm more of a behind-the-scenes type, but the whole point of this is connection: I'd take one real one over a hundred surface-level ones, and I'm trying to build that for the community, city by city.
