One of the oldest bars in Puerto Vallarta's gay scene, open on Olas Altas since November 1997. It started as a lesbian-owned martini and cocktail bar under founder Mary Ann Rattray and has been gay-owned since 2016, when current owners Ricardo Brehm and Geoff Dodds took over. The place is built around its sidewalk patio, the prime people-watching perch on the strip, and the long martini list that gave it the name. The crowd skews older: expats, long-stay visitors, and solo travelers who come for the daily happy hour and stay for the conversation. The owners are regulars on the floor, and the staff has a reputation for making first-timers feel like regulars. Cash only. This is the grown-up anchor of the Olas Altas scene, not a nightclub and not trying to be, equally good for starting an evening or settling in for the whole one.
