Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Nonprofit arts incubator serving 350+ cultural orgs and 10,000 artists
ArtServe is a 20,000-square-foot nonprofit arts incubator located in East Fort Lauderdale, functioning as one of the six original arts incubators established in the United States. The facility supports over 350 cultural organizations and 10,000 artists across Broward County by providing gallery exhibition areas, studio classrooms, multi-disciplinary performance programming, and hosting its annual Impact Awards. A primary campus feature is the Our Fund Foundation Hall—a 175-seat auditorium named after South Florida's dedicated LGBTQ+ community foundation—which acts as a venue for queer art showcases, community panels, and Pride events. The center is led by CEO Jason Hughes, a veteran of PrideVision/OUT TV, and coordinates the GENVAS Cafe Society Pride Series to showcase LGBTQ+ performing artists.
