Part of the Gay Miami Guide — bars, events & things to do.
Miami, Florida
South Florida's LGBTQ+ community center, founded 1982.
Pridelines is South Florida's oldest LGBTQ+ service organization, founded in 1982 by gay and bisexual students at Miami-Dade College in direct response to Anita Bryant's Save Our Children campaign. Originally a youth group, it expanded in 2015 to serve all ages — teens through seniors — and now operates as the LGBTQ Community Center of Miami-Dade County. Programming spans six areas: youth leadership (Hero Academy), senior social groups (HALO Coffee & Conversations), sliding-scale mental health therapy, HIV/STI testing and PrEP navigation, bilingual Latino/a/x programming (Hermanos del Sol), and faith and spirituality support. The Miami Beach location at 1130 Washington Ave operates by appointment.
