Greene King pub near Marble Arch, a gay pub since 1946, with a basement dance floor.
The City of Quebec is a Greene King pub on Old Quebec Street, a short walk from Marble Arch station, and the pub's own page calls it a cornerstone of London's gay community since 1946. CAMRA's listing describes it as apparently London's oldest gay pub, a claim that traces back to the pub and trade press rather than an independent record. It was refurbished and reopened in June 2025. The ground floor is a traditional pub with a basement club below, and the entertainment runs to cabaret, drag, karaoke and DJs. It keeps late hours for the area, until 2am on Wednesdays and 3am Thursday to Saturday.
