Berlin, Germany
Kreuzberg fetish club with dark rooms and kink-themed nights
Triebwerk is a men-only gay cruise club on Urbanstraße in Kreuzberg, spread over two floors. Alongside an air-conditioned bar and a lounge with a big screen, it's known for one of the larger and better-equipped darkrooms in the city, with slings, a St. Andrew's cross, and video cabins, and for handing out free condoms, which isn't a given in Berlin. Programming runs to fetish-themed nights, with naked, underwear, or naturist dress codes depending on the day. The crowd is there for the play spaces as much as the bar, and the two-floor layout gives it more room than the typical Schöneberg cruise bar. For travelers it's an easy Kreuzberg counterpart to the Schöneberg gear-bar circuit, a short walk from the Urbanstraße cluster around Ficken 3000.
