Kevin's Hideaway is a second-floor gay cocktail bar on Olas Altas in the Zona Romántica, reached by a rainbow-painted stairway off the pedestrian strip. Kevin Porras opened it in 2023, and he's usually on-site himself, greeting regulars and first-timers — which sets the tone for the place. The balcony looks out over the Olas Altas foot traffic; inside, flat panels play music videos over a lounge built for talking. This is the conversational counterweight to the high-volume dance clubs a few doors away. The crowd is a mix of local residents and international visitors, and people come for the easy social pace rather than a dance floor.
