Part of the Gay Berlin Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Berlin, Germany
Free-entry queer bar in Reuterkiez with cocktail bar and party space.
Two-floor queer bar in the Reuterkiez, the slice of Neukölln locals call Kreuzkölln. A cocktail bar upstairs runs at conversation volume; downstairs is the party floor, and admission is free. It's part of Danjel Zarte's small Berlin group of queer venues — alongside Große Freiheit 114, one of the city's long-running gay bars over in Friedrichshain, and the neighboring café-restaurant Das Hoven — all run under an explicit "Queer & Friends" banner. "Queer & Friends" is also the recurring Friday format here, with themed nights rotating through the rest of the week. The bar has hosted the PornFilmFestival Berlin lounge, which tells you where it sits: sex-positive, mixed-queer, and firmly rooted in its block rather than chasing the tourist-club circuit. Open Thursday through Saturday evenings, it works best as a low-key neighborhood anchor to start — or settle into — a night in Kreuzkölln.
