Sixth Street bar hosting Diva Royale's weekend drag shows
Maggie Mae's is a bar on East 6th Street in downtown Austin that hosts Diva Royale, a ticketed celebrity-impersonation drag show: drag queens performing as stars like Dolly Parton, Celine Dion, Madonna and Beyoncé. Dinner shows run Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. (doors 6:30) and the drag brunch on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. (doors 1). Diva Royale says the Austin show is 21 and over for both dinner and brunch, and buying food isn't required, but the only food served is the prepaid dinner or brunch package. It's a Gay Friendly Sixth Street bar rather than a gay bar.
