The coziest coffee stop in Douglas, operating out of a converted box truck parked in the community garden right at the doorstep of Woosah Outfitters at 450 West Center Street. Owned by Rae Lang and her wife Kelly (the same duo behind Woosah), Outside serves locally roasted coffee, vegan ice cream, pastries, and toast year-round. The vibe is exactly what you'd hope: relaxed, community-minded, and welcoming — humans welcome, dogs encouraged. It's beloved by locals heading to Douglas Beach or starting a morning bike ride, and it perfectly captures Saugatuck/Douglas's laid-back, inclusive spirit. A few miles from Oval Beach, it's an ideal first stop before a day on the water.
