Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Men-only clothing-optional guesthouse midway between the beach and Wilton Manors.
The Big Coconut is a 17-room, men-only, clothing-optional guesthouse in Fort Lauderdale's Victoria Park, sitting roughly halfway between the beach and the bars of Wilton Manors. Built by the team behind the former Coconut Cove Guesthouse, it's organized around a secluded heated pool, a paved sundeck, and a hot tub, with tropical landscaping and BBQ grills for guests. Rooms come with kitchenettes — full-size fridge, microwave, coffeemaker — plus pillowtop beds and flat-screens, ranging up to a penthouse apartment with a private balcony over the pool. A continental breakfast and weekend poolside happy hours are included, and the daytime crowd skews social and welcoming of all body types; it's a longtime favorite among bears and the men who like them. Free parking, and it's one bridge from Sebastian Street Beach.
