South Lamar bar with the free Tuesday Drag Queen Game Show
The Highball is the bar at the Alamo Drafthouse on South Lamar Boulevard in Austin, and every Tuesday night from 8 to 10 it hosts The Drag Queen Game Show: a retro TV game show with a drag twist, hosted by Mars and Celia Light, with plenty of audience participation. It's free, and seating is first come, first served. It's a Gay Friendly bar rather than a gay bar; the Tuesday show is the reason to go. The same show plays Saturdays at Barrel O' Fun at the Alamo Mueller.
