The Nellie calls itself "a queer bar for good drinks, curious company and unhurried evenings", and that is a fair summary. It opened on Ash Avenue in Elephant Park on 22 July 2026, from the team behind Betty & Joan's and Elephant Pride, with drinks and both indoor and outdoor seating. Where Betty & Joan's around the corner is about comedy and drag, The Nellie is the quieter option for a proper drink and a conversation. It takes reservations through its website, and it is a short walk from Elephant & Castle station.
